Ingredients
- For Marination
200 grams White Button Mushroom
1 Medium Onion cut
1 Capsicum
1/4 cup Thick Curd
1 tbsp. Red Chili powder (as per your spice level)
1 tbsp. Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Water
- For Gravy
1/4 cup Oil or butter
1/2 inch Cinnamon
1 Clove
1 tsp Fennel seeds
1 Bay leaf
1/2 cup Onion paste
1/2 cup Tomato paste
1 tbsp. Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Sugar(optional)
1 tbsp. Kasurimethi
Directions
- Firstly, take a mixing bowl and add in cleaned white botton mushrooms, capsicum, onions, thick curd, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kashmiri chili powder, salt to taste.
- Give a mix and then close the lid and allow it to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Later heat a large bottom pan and add in oil, fennel seeds, onion paste, bay leaf. Cook till the onions are caramelized or turns light brown.
- And then add in tomato paste, ginger garlic paste. Cook till the oil separates the pan or the raw smell goes away completely.
- Further, add in marinated mushrooms and little water. Then give a mix and allow it to cook.
- Cook till the oil separates the pan or until the raw smell goes away completely.
- Add little sugar(optional) for sweetness.
- At the end add in kasurimethi and switch off the flame.
- Finally, Mushroom Masala Gravy is ready to serve.
