Palakura Pappu Recipe

Palakura Pappu is also known as Palak Pappu (it means Spinach dal in Telugu). It is a popular Andhra Style special lentil dish cooked with palak or Indian spinach along with garlic, green chilies, onion, tomato, and finally, seasoned with oil or ghee, sliced onions, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.

Further, is a nutritious and protein-rich sambar recipe. It can be served with hot rice with ghee, ragi ball, and roti.

In this recipe, I have used a mixture of these dals like moong dal, chana dal, and toor dal. Or you can use any one of these days as per your choice.
