Ingredients
Broccoli 1 cup
Onion chopped 1
Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Directions
- Firstly, rinse and cut the broccoli flowrates. Transfer to a chopper. Chop it into a course texture.
- Now heat a pan and add in oil, cumin seeds and chopped onions. Sauté for a minute.
- Then add in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt to taste. Give a mix.
- Close the lid and allow it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes under low flame.
- Broccoli mixture is ready. Allow it to cool down completely.
- Further, take a lemon sized dough. Roll each ball into a small disc, and place a spoonful of the broccoli stuffing in the center.
- Seal the edges and roll it into a round paratha. Sprinkle some wheat flour.
- Carefully roll it into a flat bread.
- Place the rolled paratha on the hot surface. Brush the surface with oil or ghee and cook until both sides are golden brown and cooked through.
- Finally, healthy and tasty broccoli paratha is ready to serve.
