Thandai Kulfi is a popular, creamy Indian frozen dessert, infused with the flavors of thandai. Thandai is a Holi special cold drink, which is prepared with the flavors of almonds, cashew nuts, fennel, melon seeds, pepper, rose petals, poppy seeds, sugar and milk.
Kulfi is a rich and creamy frozen dessert from the Indian Sub-Continent. It is traditional Ice cream made with nuts, milk and sugar. Unlike ice-cream, kulfi is not whipped. The word Kulfi comes from the Persian means “covered up”.

Ingredients
Milk 1 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Thandai paste 2 tbsp.
Chopped almonds 2 tbsp.
Directions
- Firstly, boil 1 cup milk and add in required sugar for sweeteners.
- Add 2 tbsp. of thandai paste.
- Give a mix without any lumps.
- Later add in chopped almonds.
- Give a mix. And then allow it to cool down completely.
- Further, pour kulfi mixture into a kulfi/popsicles mold. Allow it to freeze for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
- After freezing, to unmold the kulfi, run the bottom of the mold under running water for few seconds. Then gently try to remove the kulfis from the molds.
- Finally, tasty popsicles are ready to eat.
