Ghee Rice | How to make Ghee Rice is a healthy and tasty flavorful rice recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. It is one of the flavorful rice recipe, it is one of the best lunch box recipe. Ingredients used in this recipe are very handy.

Ingredients:

Basmati rice, onion, green chilies, cloves, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, fennel seeds, oil, ghee, curry leaves, water as required, salt to taste.

Methods:

  1. Firstly heat a pan and add in oil, cloves, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, fennel seeds, sliced onions, green chilies. Saute it for 2 minutes.
  2. Now add in water, salt to taste. Allow it boil.
  3. Add in ginger garlic paste(optional), ghee. Allow it to boil.
  4. Add in soaked basmati rice and close the lid and allow it cook under low flame.
  5. Finally the healthy and flavorful Ghee Rice is ready to serve.
