Arabic Bread Pudding

Arabic bread pudding is a creamy and delicious dessert in Middle East recipe. It is made with layers of bread or toasted bread, soaked in sweetened cream milk. Further, garnished with chopped nuts like almonds, pistachio. It can be served as it is or cold, but I like to eat cold.

This bread pudding is a “No bake dessert”. It is a versatile dish and can be customized by adding chocolate chips, roasted and chopped nuts like almonds, pistachio and raisins, dried fruits, or flavored sauces. Arabic bread pudding is a creamy and delicious dessert in Middle East recipe. It is made with layers of bread or toasted bread, soaked in sweetened cream milk. Further, garnished with chopped nuts like almonds, pistachio. It can be served as it is or cold, but I like to eat cold.

Ingredients

  • Bread 5 to 6

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Chopped nuts

  • Cream 2 tbsp.

  • Badam powder or custard powder 2 tbsp.

  • Sugar 1/4 cup (add as per your taste preference)

Directions

  • Firstly, take a bread and remove the edges and set aside.
  • Then boil milk and add in sugar.
  • And then add in badam powder or custard powder.
  • In a bowl add in milk cream and give a mix.
  • Add in the above milk cream and give a mix without any lumps. Then allow it to cool down completely.
  • Now take a large bowl, and place the bread slices and pour the milk mixture evenly over the bread cubes and ensure all the bread is soaked.
  • Repeat the same process by placing one more layer of bread cubes and pour the milk.
  • Finally, garnish it with chopped nuts (roasted nuts).

HOW TO MAKE ARABIC BREAD PUDDING

In a bowl add in milk cream and give a mix.
Add in the above milk cream and give a mix without any lumps. Then allow it to cool down completely.
