Drumstick Leaves Chutney Powder

Drumstick leaves are also called as Moringa leaves. Flowers, pods, leaves and drumsticks are cooked and eaten. Drumstick leaves are packed with vitamin C, iron and calcium. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are dried drumstick leaves, peanuts, channa dal, urad dal, dry red chilies, dry coconuts, salt to taste, oil.

How to make Drumstick Leaves Chutney Powder:

Firstly wash and sum dry the drumstick leaves and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and add in peanuts and dry roast them and keep it aside.

 

And then dry roast channa dal, urad dal till golden brown and keep it aside.

Dry roast dry red chili powder and keep it aside.

Now dry roast dry coconut.

Allow it cool down completely.

Take a mixer jar and add in all the ingredients and salt to taste.

 

Ground them into a coarse powder or smooth powder according to your choice.

Cool down completely and store them in air tight container.

Drumstick Leaves Chutney Powder

Drumstick Leaves Chutney Powder is a healthy and nutritious chutney powder recipe. It goes well with rice, dosa, idly and roti.

  • Pan
  • Mixer jar
  • 2 cups Drumstick leaves
  • ¼ cup Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Channa dal
  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • ½ cup Dry coconut
  • 7 Dry red chilies
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. Firstly wash and sundry drumstick leaves and keep it aside.

  2. Now heat a pan and dry roast all the ingredients. And then allow it cool down completely.

  3. Transfer it into a mixer jar and salt to taste.

  4. Ground them into a coarse powder and allow it cool down completely and then store them into a air tight container.
