CRISPY MADDUR VADA RECIPE

Maddur vada is a traditonal and crispy recipe from the place called Maddur, Karnataka. Maddur vada is one of the best evening snack, goes well with coconut chutney. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are all purpose flour, rice flour, rava, finely chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, oil, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt to taste, sesame seeds.

How to make Crispy Maddur Vada Recipe:

Then add in chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, chopped coriander leaves, chopped curry leaves and salt to taste.

Take a butter paper and gread with little oil. Then take a lemon size dough and flatten it sing hand, in medium thickness.

Crispy Maddur Vada Recipe

Crispy Maddur Vada Recipe is a traditional and crispy snack recipe, it goes well with coconut chutney. It is one of the best evening snack recipe.

  • Pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 1 cup Maida or all purpose flour
  • ½ cup Medium Rava
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • ¼ cup Coriander leaves
  • ½ inch Ginger chopped
  • 1 string Curry leaves
  • 2 Green chilies chopped
  • Oil as required for deep fry and 1 tbsp hot oil
  • 1 tbsp White sesame seeds.
  1. Take a mixing bowl and add in onion, salt as per taste, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies. Give a mix.

  2. Then add in rice flour, maida flour, medium rava, sesame seeds. Give a mix.

  3. Mi well and then add hot oil and mix it.

  4. Later add in water as per requirement and make a dough. Dough should be of roti dough consisitency.

  5. Take a baking paper or banana leaf, grease with oil.

  6. Take a lemon size dough and flatten it using hand, It should be of medium thickness.

  7. Deep fry in hot oil one by one. Then remove when it turns crisp and golden brown.

  8. Repeat the same process and make all the vada.

  9. Finally the crispy and tasty Maddur Vada is ready to serve.
