SIMPLE POTATO SWEETCORN SANDWICH
It is one of the quick and tasty sandwich recipe. This boiled sweetcorn and masala potato mixture is a great combination.
We can even add cheese slices for rich flavor. In this recipe I have not added any cheese, I just kept it simple.
It can be served any time of the day like breakfast, lunch, evening snack, dinner. And it is one of the best and filling lunch box recipe too.
COATINGS
Sandwich can be served plain or coated with ketchup, butter, condiments like mayonnaise. Adding which enhances the taste and texture of the sandwich. It can be served hot or cold.
There are sweet sandwich like we can coat it with peanut butter stuffed with banana slices, jam, almond butter etc.
Ingredients used for stuffing are:
Boiled potatoes, sweet corn, green peas, some onions, garlic, spices like cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt to taste, oil, water as required.
Sandwich is a food that consists of bread, stuffed with vegetables such as onions, tomato, cucumber, etc., and sliced cheese or meat placed between the bread.
Sandwiches are portable and easy to prepare without cooking, the best lunch box recipe. Which can be taken to schools, offices, and picnics too.
And it has become popular and staple food for other foreign countries, super quick and easy meal was already spread all over the world.

POTATO SWEETCORN SANDWICH
Bread scandwich can be a best breakfast and even can be eaten as evening snacks. I think it can be a healthier form of eating snacks at the evening. You can add any vegetables of your choice such as carrots, beetroots, broccoli, mushroom and even you can add eggs too.
- 3 nos. Potatoes Boiled
- 1 nos. Sweet Corn Boiled
- ¼ cup Green Peas
- 1 nos. Onion
- 8 cloves Garlic Chopped
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- Oil (as required)
- Salt (as required)
Firstly pressure cook the potatoes and sweet corns for 3 whistles.
Take a large pan and add in Oil, Cumin seeds, Garlic chopped, Onion Chopped.
Add in Peas and boiled Sweet corn.
Add in all the spice powders.
Add in boiled potatoes.
Take the bread and spread butter or ghee.
Fill in the potato masala on the bread and chili flakes (optional)
Place the bread in the bread toaster.
Now enjoy the Potato Sweet corn Sandwich with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
- Adding chili flakes is optional.
