Veg Paneer Kathi roll recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. Kathi roll is one of the healthy and tasty recipe. Kathi rolls can be made with left over rotis. For staffing we can use different types of vegetables like mushroom, broccoli, peas and even eggs, chicken etc. So, in this recipe ingredients used are onions, capsicum, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, chili powder, coriander powder,mint leaves, oil, paneer cubes, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, kashmiri chili powder, Mint chutney, left over rotis, pulkas, chapathi etc.,

How to make Veg Paneer Kathi Roll:

Heat a pan and add in oil, onion, tomato, mint, ginger, garlic and green chilli. Saute for 2 minutes in low flame.

Grind them into a smooth paste.

Now heat a pan and add in oil and ground paste, kashmiri chili, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste.

Cook till the gravy becomes dry paste or there should not be water in it. Finally sprinkle some kasuri methi and give a mix.

Now add in paneer cubes and cook for 1 minute.

Now in the same pan add in little oil, sliced cabbage, carrots, capsicum, red chili powder, salt to taste and saute them for 2 to 3 minutes and keep it aside.

Take a large bowl and add in saute veggies and freshly sliced onions, give a mix.

Now for assembling roll, firstly take a chapati or pulka, spread some mint chutney on it.

Add in prepared panner mix.

Now add in some saute veggies.

  • Mixing bowl
  • Pan
  • 6 Rotis, chapathi or pulka
  • 150 grams Paneer
  • 2 Big Onions
  • 1 Big tomatoes
  • 2 Green chillies
  • Few mint leaves
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Garam masala
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 5 Garlic cloves
  • ¼ inch Ginger
  • 2 Finely sliced carrots
  • 1 Finely sliced capsicum
  • ½ cup Sliced cabbage
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  1. Heat a pan and add in oil, onion, tomatoes, ginger garlic, green chili, mint leaves. Saute for 2 minutes in low flame.

  2. Now ground them into a paste.

  3. And again heat a pan and add in oil, ground paste, red chili powder, kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste and kasuri methi.

  4. Cook till the gravy becomes dry or thick and at the end add in cubed paneer and cook for another 3 minutes in low flame and keep it aside.

  5. In the same pan add in little oil, finely sliced veggies, red chili powder and salt to taste. Give a mix and saute for 3 minutes in low flame and allow it cool.

  6. Now take a left over roti and spread some mint chutney, and add in some paneer mix at the center of the roti, and add in some saute veggies and roll them and serve hot.
