Coconut Jaggery Burfi is a healthy and tasty recipe. It is one of the traditional and mouth watering Indian sweet recipe. It is very simple and easy to prepare with minimal ingredients available in our kitchen. Coconut burfi can be prepared by using sugar and milk also for additional flavour. But I like to use jaggery. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh coconut, jaggery, cardamom powder.

How to make Jaggery Coconut Burfi:
Jaggery Coconut Burfi or Coconut Burfi
Jaggery Coconut Burfi or Coconut Burfi is a healthy and traditional Indian Sweet recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below.
- Pan
- 2 cups Grated coconut
- 1 cup Jaggery (Adjust according to taste)
- ½ tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Ghee

Firstly grate fresh coconut and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and add in ghee, grated coconut. Give a mix. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame.

Add in jaggery. Allow it melt. Keep stirring the mixture during the entire process to avoid it from burning at the bottom.

Give a mix and cook till the mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the base. So, this stage switch off the flame.

Now grease the pan with ghee or oil and transfer the coconut mixture then flatten it with the ladle and allow it cool down completely. And then cut into desired shape and size.

Finally the Jaggery Coconut Burfi is ready to serve.

- In the place of jaggery, sugar can be used.
