TASTY CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE:

It is a popular, delicious and tasty recipe with step by step pictures, instructions and videos are given below, hope you all like it. It is made with Indian spices, rice and usually with meat i.e., chicken, goat, prawns, fish, eggs and even with vegetable, paneer, potatoes etc. too. Biryani is one of the most popular dishes in South Asia. It goes well with Onion raita, any gravy or curry of your choice.

 

Ingredients: Measurements given below:

Basmati rice or jeera rice, chicken, oil, ghee, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, fennel seeds, onion, ginger garlic paste, tomato, mint and coriander leaves, turmeric powder, garam masala or biryani masala, green chilies, salt to taste, water as required.

 

Methods:

How to make Chicken Biryani:

  1. Heat a biryani pot and add in oil, ghee, bay leaf, fennel seeds, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon.
  2. Then add in sliced onions and sauté till the onions becomes golden brown.
  3. Then add in ginger garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell goes away.
  4. Then add in green chili paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Then add in tomato paste and saute for 5 minutes in low flame or till the raw smell goes away.
  6. Later add in mint and coriander leaves paste. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  7. Then add in 1/8 tsp turmeric powder and garam masala or biryani masala. Give a mix.
  8. Then add in 1/2 kg chicken, salt to taste.
  9. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Squeeze lemon juice.
  11. Then add in water as required.
  12. Then add in soaked jeera rice.
  13. Then close the lid and dum cook for 25 to 30 minutes in low flame.
  14. Finally the Chicken biryani is ready to serve.
