Aloo Stuffed Idli Recipe
Aloo Stuffed Idli Recipe is a healthy breakfast recipe. Idli itself is a healthy recipe, but stuffed idli is more healthier than the normal plain idli. It goes well with any chutney of your choice, tiffin samber.
- Mixing bowl
- Idli cooker
- 2 cups Idli batter
Stuffing
- 2 Big potatoes
- 1 Chopped onions
- 1 tbsp Oil
- ½ tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander leaves
- ⅛ tsp Garam masala
- 2 spring Curry leaves
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- Pinch of hing
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves

Firstly boil aloo and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and add in oil, chopped onions, curry leaves, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt to taste, turmeric powder, hing. Saute for 2 minutes in low flame.

Then add in boiled smashed potatoes and give a mix. Finally garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. Keep it aside to cool down completely.

Now take a idli mold and add in a small spoon of idli batter, spread on all the sides, pour a spoon full of aloo stuffing in the middle and again pour the idli batter, so that it covers on all the sides of the stuffing.

Later place the idli mold inside the idli cooker, close the lid and cook for 7 minutes in medium flame.

Finally the aloo stuffed idli is ready to serve.
