Spicy Potato Fry with Seasoning
Spicy Potato Fry with Seasoning is a spicy and tasty recipe, it goes well with curd rice, samber sadam, rasam rice, chapati. It is really very simple and easy to prepare with minimum ingredients available at home. So, do try and share your opinion in the comment below.
- Pan
- 3 Big potatoes
- ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp Red chili powder (Or adjust according to your spice level)
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- ⅛ tsp Fennel seeds
- Few curry leaves
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- ½ tsp Mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup Water (Adjust according to requirements)

Firstly clean and slice the potatoes. Then keep it aside.

Firstly heat a pan and add in oil, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves. Saute it for 1 minute in low flame.

Later add in red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste. Mix well and saute for 2 minutes or till the raw smell goes away.

Now add in sliced potatoes, water. Close a lid and cook till the potatoes are 70 percent cooked.

Once the potatoes are 3/4th cooked, take off the lid and cook in low flame, it helps the potatoes not to become too soft or mash, instead helps to cook crisp and soft.
