How to make Spicy Egg Drop Masala Recipe:

Egg Curry
Heat a pan and add in oil, chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till brown.

Now add in half cup water and allow it to boil.

Take a mixer jar and add in coconut, roasted channa, pepper corns, mint leaves, coriander leaves. Ground it into a smooth paste.

Now add in red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder. Give a mix and allow it to boil for 5 minutes.

Now add in the grounded paste and allow it to boil, add in water if required and salt to taste.

Spicy Egg Drop Masala

Egg Drop Masala is a spicy and tasty masala recipe. It goes well with poori, chapati, dosa, rice, parathas.

  • Large Pan
  • Mixer jar
  • 6 to 8 Eggs
  • 2 Big Onions chopped
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 2 Tomatoes paste
  • 2 Boiled potatoes (Optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

For Grinding

  • ⅓ cup Coconut grated
  • 2 tbsp Roasted channa
  • ¼ cup Mint leaves
  • ¼ cup Coriander leaves
  1. Firstly heat a pan and in oil, chopped onions. Saute till transparent.

  2. Then add in ginger garlic paste, fry till the raw smell goes away.

  3. Then add in 1/2 cup water and allow it to boil. Now add in red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Then take a mixer jar and add in coconut, pepper corns, roasted channa, coriander leaves, mint leaves. Grind it into a smooth paste.

  5. Now add in the grounded paste and allow it to boil. If required add in water, salt to taste.

  6. Once the gravy starts to boil, drop the eggs carefully one by one without disturbing the other. Then immediately switch of the flame and allow it rest for 3 minutes. (it helps the eggs to cook and not break).

  7. Then after 3 minutes again allow the gravy to cook for another 5 minutes in low flame.

  8. Finally the egg drop masala is ready to serve, garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
