Simple Paneer Peas Masala(My Style)

Paneer Peas Masala is a fresh cheese common in the Indian subcontinent. It is made by curdling milk by adding food acid, such as lemon juice, vinegar, citric acid or dahi (yogurt) to hot milk to separate the curds from the whey. The curds are drained in muslin or cheesecloth and the excess water is pressed out. The resulting paneer is dipped in cold water for 2 to 3 hours to improve its texture and appearance. And placed under a heavy weight such as a stone slab for two to three hours, and then cut into cubes for uses in curries

.This paneer peas masala is favorite amoung both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Paneer is much loved dish in India. We can make variety of dishes using paneer such as paneer butter masala, paneer biryani, paneer snaks, sweets. Benefits of paneer are rich in protein, Good for digestion.

HOW TO MAKE PANEER PEAS MASALA STEPWISE:

Take a pan add in oil, Chopped onion, tomatoes, Cashew nuts, Ginger garlic paste, cloves, cardamom, Cinnamon, bay leaves. fry for 2 minutes in low flame.

Make a paste of it

Take a pan and add grounded paste, salt, sugar and spice powders. Cook till the oil separates.

Add in Paneer cubes and peas.

Garnish it with kasuri methi and coriander leaves.

Paneer peas masala is ready to serve with chapathi, poori, parathas.

Notes

You can also use fresh peas, but make sure add before as it takes time to cook.

At the end add ghee for extra taste.

    It is one of the most loved recipe in Indian meals. This is my style of making paneer gravy at home. It is easy to make and tastes really good. We can make gravies, types of sweets, desserts, snacks.

    Ingredients

    • 200 grams Paneer

    • 2 nos. Big Onion

    • 3 nos. Tomatoes

    • 1 tbsp. Ginger Garlic paste

    • 8 nos. Cashew nuts

    • ½ cup Frozen green peas

    • 2 tbsp. Chopped coconuts

    • 2 nos. Cloves, Cardamom

    • 1 nos. Bay leaves, Cinnamon(1 inch)

    • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder

    • 1½ tsp Chili powder

    • 1 tsp Coriander Powder

    • ½ tsp Garam masala powder

    • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder For colour

    • 2 tbsp Ccoriander leaves

    • 2 tbsp Oil

    • 1 tbsp Kasuri methi

    • Salt As per taste

    • 2 tsp Sugar/Jaggery For sweetness

    • Water As required
