Paneer Bhurji Gravy
Paneer Bhurji Gravy is a healthy and delicious gravy recipe. It goes well with chapati, poori, dosa and even with parathas.
- Large bottom pan
- Mixer
- 200 Grams Paneer
- 1 Chopped Onion
- ⅓ cup Green peas(frozen)
- 1 Chopped Capsicum
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1½ tsp Coriander powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- Pinch of Turmeric powder
- Pinch of hing
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
- 1 tbsp Oil
- ¼ tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 Bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Jaggery or sugar
- ¼ cup water
For Grinding
- 1 Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- ½ inch Ginger
- 6 cloves Garlic
For Grinding
Take a pan and add in little oil, cut onion, tomato, ginger and garlic.
Fry for a two minutes in low flame.
Take a mixer jar and add in all the fried ingredients. Make a paste of it and keep it aside.
For Making Gravy
Heat a pan and add in oil, cloves, cinnamon sticks, fennel seeds, bay leaf, hing and kasuri methi.
Now add in chopped onions and fry for a minute.
Add in ground paste, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, jaggery and give a mix. Then close the lid and cook till the oil separates.
Then add in frozen green peas, capsicum and scrambled paneer and give a mix.
Then close the lid and cook for another five minutes.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati, poori or dosa.
