Palak Channa is a very healthy and delicious gravy recipe. It goes well with poori, chapati, jeera rice, parathas etc. So the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh palak, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, chopped garlic, oil, green chilies, kabuli channa, onions, tomatoes, cashew nuts, kasuri methi, salt to taste, sugar, fresh cream.

Palak Channa
Palak channa is a healthy and delicious gravy recipe. It is rich in iron and protein. It goes well with chapati or poori and even with dosa.
- Large bottom pan
- Mixer jar
- 1 big bunch Fresh palak
- ½ cup Kabuli channa
- 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
- 1 Chopped onions
- 1 Chopped tomatoes
- 3 Green chilies
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh cream
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of turmeric powder

Firstly clean the palak and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and add in palak, little sugar and cook for 3 minutes. And allow it cool down completely.

Ground them into a smooth paste.

Heat a pan and add in oil, cumin seeds and chopped garlic. Fry till brown.

Then add in chopped onions, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.

And then add in ground palak paste and cook till the raw smell goes.

Now add in ground cashew nut paste and salt to taste. Cook for another 3 minutes in low flame.

Finally add in cooked kabuli channa, kasuri methi and fresh cream. Cook for 5 minutes and switch off the flame.

Palak channa gravy is ready to serve with chapati, poori, dosa or parathas of your choice.
- Sugar is added to retain the color of the palak.
