How to make Nut Chikkies and Nut Energy Bars Recipe:

Energy bars
Firstly heat pan and dry roast peanuts and keep it aside.

And then dry roast cashew nuts and keep it aside.

Dry roast pistachio and keep it aside.

Dry roast walnuts and keep it aside.

Firstly add in dates in the food processor or mixer.(If the dates are hard then soak them in hot water for 5 minutes and then ground them into coarse paste.)

Take a food processor or mixer and add in all the dry roasted nuts, dry coconuts, raisins, flax seeds and jaggery if needed.

Ground them into coarse powder.

Now transfer the coarse powder into a square pan and press them with the spatula. Then refrigerate it and allow it cool down completely.

After cooling down completely cut the chikkies with the help of knife.

  1. Firstly remove the seeds from the dates and keep it aside.

  2. Now heat a pan and dry roast peanuts, cashew nuts, walnuts, pistachio and keep it aside.

  3. Now take a food processor or mixer jar and add in dates and ground them coarsely.

  4. And then add in roasted nuts, dry coconuts, flax seeds, raisins, jaggery and ground them coarsely and transfer it into another pan.

  5. Spread evenly and press them with the help of spatula.

  6. And then refrigerate it or allow it cool down completely.

  7. And then cut it with the help of knife and its ready to serve.
