- Curd Rice:Curd is a diary product obtained by coagulating milk in a process called curdling. Summer is the best time to have curd in the form curd rice, butter milk, lassi. Curd rice is one of my all time favorite recipe. It helps in cooling the body. Adding tadka, pomegranate, cashew nuts enhances the taste of the curd rice. Some people like to add milk in curd rice, but I like to have it with curd itself. Add in pomegranate, grapes, cucumber, carrots are optional.
- Raw Mango Rice: Tasty Green Raw mango rice is a summer special rice as it is a summer season. We get verity of mangoes in this season. So ingredients used for preparing raw mango spicy rice are grated raw mango, green chili, curry leaves, onion, peanuts, chana dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, salt jaggery powder, cashew nuts, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, and chopped coriander leaves for taste and garnishing. Even we can add grated coconut.
