How to sprout Green Moong

Sprouts are very healthy food as it contains lots of nutrition in it. Using sprouts we can make sprout salads, dosa, vada, curry, gravy, rice bath, usli or sundal etc.

How to Sprout Green Moong

Sprouts are very healthy food has it contains all nutritions in it. Here is the step by step pictures and instructions that how to make sprouts.

  • Bowl
  • Soft Cotton cloth
  • 1 Cup Green Moong dal
  • 1 Soft Cotton Cloth
  • 4 Cup Water
  1. First of all wash the green moong with water.

  2. Take a clean bowl and add in washed green moon dal and required to soak the dal for overnight or 8 to 10 hours.

  3. After soaking, remove all the water from the dal.

  4. Take one soft cotton cloth and add in all the dal and tie the cloth like a potlis tightly.

  5. Allow it rest for overnight or 8 to 10 hours.

  6. After resting, then the sprouts will be ready to use for salads, gravy etc.
