Homemade Curd Recipe or How to make thick curd at home is a very and easy to set curd at home. Curd is a traditional yogurt or fermented milk product. Usually curd is prepared from cow’s milk, and even with buffalo milk, goat milk. Curd is made by bacterial fermentation of milk.
Milk is boiled and cooled. In a separate bowl curd is mixed with its previous batch of curd, and then mixed together with the milk. It is then left to sit undisturbed for 5 to 10 hours.
Curd sometimes made with dried red chilies or their stems in hot milk. Milk is boiled and then allowed to cool for a while. When it is lukewarm, dried chili stem are added, the bacteria that helps in fermentation of milk to form curd. The bowl is kept undisturbed in a warm place for 5 to 10 hours.

Homemade Curd or How to make homemade curd at home recipe. It is very simple and easy to make curd at home.

- Pot
- 1 Liter Milk
- 2 tbsp Previously saved curd or chili stem

Firstly boil milk and allow it cool. It should not be too cold or not be too hot.

Take a pot and add in 2 tbsp of previously saved curd and Luke warm milk and give a mix.

Then allow it to ferment for 5 to 10 hours or overnight without undisturbed in warm place.

Finally the homemade thick curd it ready to serve.
