Ingredients
Almonds 15
Cashew nuts 10
Raisins 15
Melon seeds 2 tbsp.
Pumpkin seeds 2 tbsp.
Dates 2
Rose petals 2 tbsp.
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Poppy seeds 1 tbsp.
Peppercorn 1/4 tsp
Cardamom 2 nos.
Water 1/2 cup
Sugar 4 tbsp.
Milk 1 cup
Chopped nuts 2 tbsp. (Garnishing)
Directions
- Firstly, in a bowl add in almonds, cashews, raisins, melon seeds, pumpkin seeds, dates, fennel seeds, pepper corns, poppy seeds, rose petals.
- Then add in water and allow it to soak for few hours or over night.
- Later transfer to a grinder. Grind it into a smooth paste.
- Boil milk and set it aside to cool down completely, strain milk.
- Add in sugar for sweetener.
- Now its time to add prepared thandai masala paste.
- Give a mix without any lumps.
- Finally, garnish it with rose petals and chopped dry fruits. Now Holi special Thandai is ready to serve.
