So, the green fish fry or mint fish fry is one of my favorite fish fry recipe. I got this recipe from my father. When we were small my father use to prepare this green mint fish fry for us. It is really very  simple and delicious fish recipe. As the name says green mint fish fry, the color of the fish fry is also so appealing and attractive. It is one our family favorite fish fry recipe. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh water fish, mint leaves, coriander leaves, pepper corns, salt to taste, onions, ginger and garlic, few curry leaves, lemon juice, turmeric powder, oil as required.

How to make Green Mint Fish Fry, Mint Fish Fry and Hariyali Fish Fry:

Firstly clean fish and keep it aside. Here I have used turmeric powder and tamarind to clean the fish.

For Grind we need all these ingredients.

Take a mixer jar and add in onion, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves, mint leaves, turmeric powder, salt to taste.

Squeeze lemon juice.

Grounded green paste.

Apply paste gently on all over the fish .

Marinate the fish and allow to rest in fridge for minimum one hour or over night.

Later heat a pan and add in oil. Once the oil is hot then place the marinated fishes one by one and cook both the sides for 3 to 5 minutes in low flame.

Green Mint Fish Fry or Hariyali Fish Fry is a simple, healthy and tasty fish fry recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Fresh Fish

  • 1 Medium Onion

  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

  • 4 Green Chilies

  • ½ cup Mint leaves

  • ⅓ cup Coriander leaves

  • 1 spring Curry leaves

  • ¼ tsp Pepper corns

  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder

  • ½ Lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil as required

Directions

  • Firstly clean fish and keep it aside.
  • Then take a mixer jar and add in onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, pepper corns, salt to taste.
  • Apply the paste on fish gently on all the sides and allow it marinate for minimum one hour or overnight.
  • Later heat a pan and add in oil, and place the marinated fish one by one and cook on both the sides for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Finally the green mint fish fry is ready to serve.
