Egg less Kul Kul or Kal Kal Christmas Sweets

Kul kul or kal kal eggless sweets are usually prepared during Christmas festival. It is one of my favorite sweet. Shalini is my childhood friend, they use to celebrate Christmas festival, so at that time she use to get me these traditional sweets like kul kul, Achu Murukku or Rose Cookies, Kara Murukku etc., it was so delicious and I was waiting for these sweets on Christmas day. So it is one of my beautiful childhood memory that I liked to share here.

Kul Kul or Kal Kal Christmas Sweet Recipe

Kal Kal or Kul Kul is one of the traditional Christmas sweet recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below.

  • Mixing bowl
  • Pan for deep frying
  • Fork
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • ⅛ tsp Salt
  • ⅛ tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Oil (As required)
  1. Take a bowl and add in wheat flour, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, salt. Give a mix.

  2. Add in Coconut Milk and knead to form a soft dough.

  3. Keep covered for 15 minutes.

  4. After resting. Make small balls, place those balls on fork and flatten it, roll them and repeat the same for other balls also.

  5. Then heat oil and fry until golden brown.

  6. Drain the oil and place them on the paper towel.

  7. Finally Kal Kal or Kul Kul Christmas sweets are ready to serve.

  1. Can be stored in air tight container for one week.
