Instructions:

Prepare the Dry Fruits:

If using dates, remove the seeds and chop them as well. And keep all the dry fruits ready in a bowl.

Roast the Nuts and Seeds:

Add ghee and roast the dry fruits until they become aromatic and slightly browned. Be careful not to burn them. At the end dry roast pumpkin or melon seeds for a minute under a low flame.

Grind the Mixture:

Let the roasted dry fruits cool for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a blender or food processor. Add the roasted seeds, cardamom powder. Blend until you get a coarse mixture.

Jaggery Syrup:

In a pan add in water and jaggery, allow it to melt.

Shape into Ladoos:

Then add the prepared dry fruit mixture to the jaggery syrup and give a mix. Further, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round ladoos. If the mixture is too dry, you can add a little melted ghee to bind it together.

Serve or Store:

Your dry fruit ladoos are ready to be served. Enjoy them as a healthy snack or dessert. Store the ladoos in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • Almonds 15 to 20

  • Cashew nuts 10 to 15

  • Raisins 1/4 cup

  • Figs 3

  • Walnuts 1 tbsp.

  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp.

  • Dry dates 1/2 cup

  • Pumpkin seeds 2 tbsp.

  • Melon seeds 2 tbsp.

  • Jaggery 1/2 cup (adjust as per your preferences)

  • Water 1/4 cup

  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp (optional)

  • Ghee 1 tbsp.

Directions
