Chili Garlic Mushroom Fry is a simple and popular vegetarian dish. And which combines the earthy flavor of mushrooms with the heat of chili and the aromatic essence of garlic. It’s a versatile recipe that can be customized according to personal taste preferences.

Ingredients

  • Paste
  • 10 Garlic pods

  • 4 Dry Red Chilies (adjust as per spice level)

  • 1/2 tsp Sugar

  • For Fry
  • 200 grams Mushroom

  • 1/2 cup Capsicum

  • 2tbsp. Oil

  • 1 Bay Leaf

  • 1 to 2 Cloves

  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick

  • 2 Big Onion chopped

  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 3 Tomatoes ripe

  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Firstly, in a mixer jar add in dry chilies, garlic and sugar. Grind it into a course paste.
  • Heat a pan and add on oil, bay leaf, cloves and cinnamon stick.
  • Add in finely chopped onions, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Sauté till the onions turns light golden brown.
  • Add in ground chili and garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell goes away completely.
  • Later add in tomato paste. Close the lid and cook tomatoes till the raw smell goes away or oil separates the pan.
  • Further, add in fresh mushroom, capsicums. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Once the vegetables are 3/4th cooked add in garam masala(optional). Give a mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Finally, Chili Garlic Mushroom Fry is ready to serve.
