Thepla is from Gujarati cuisine. Thepla is a soft Indian flat bread. It is usually served in breakfast or can be eaten as snacks. Thepla can be made with wheat flour, gram flour(besan), otherr millet flours. Theplas can be prepared in many variants like, methi, mool, dudhi, mashed potatoes, mixer vegetables. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are wheat flour, besan flour, red chili powder, cumin powder, kashmiri chili powder, thick curd, fenugreek leaves, salt to taste, oil.
Best combo: Thepla goes well with thick curd ie., dahi(yogurt), red garlic chutney, pickle.

Thepla
Thepla is a healthy and tasty Indian Flat bread recipe made with wheat flour, gram flour, millet flour, methi leaves, curd and some spices. It is served as a breakfast and even as a snacks.
- Mixing bowl
- Pan or Tawa
- 2 cups Wheat flour
- 2 tbsp Gram flour
- 1 tbsp Curd
- ½ cup Methi leaves (add according to your choice)
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- ½ tsp Cumin powder
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tbsp Oil or ghee
- Salt to taste

Take a mixing bowl and add in wheat flour, gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, curd, methi leaves, cumin powder, kashmiri chili powder, high, salt to taste, oil, required water and give a mix.

Prepare the mix to a chapati dough consistency. Make small balls and keep it aside.

Now flatten the prepared small ball dough into a flat bread.

Then heat the pan and cook the theplas on both sides by adding oil or ghee.

Finally the thepla is ready to serve.
