Paneer Bhurji gravy is a delicious gravy recipe and it goes well with chapati, poori, dosa, paratha. So the ingredients used in this recipe are fresh paneer, frozen peas, chopped capsicum, fennel seeds, hing, little water, onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic, bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, salt to taste, oil, coriander leaves.

Paneer Bhurji Gravy

Paneer Bhurji Gravy is a healthy and delicious gravy recipe. It goes well with chapati, poori, dosa and even with parathas.

  • Large bottom pan
  • Mixer
  • 200 Grams Paneer
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • ⅓ cup Green peas(frozen)
  • 1 Chopped Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • Pinch of Turmeric powder
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Jaggery or sugar
  • ¼ cup water

For Grinding

  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • ½ inch Ginger
  • 6 cloves Garlic

For Grinding

  1. Take a pan and add in little oil, cut onion, tomato, ginger and garlic.

  2. Fry for a two minutes in low flame.

  3. Take a mixer jar and add in all the fried ingredients. Make a paste of it and keep it aside.

For Making Gravy

  1. Heat a pan and add in oil, cloves, cinnamon sticks, fennel seeds, bay leaf, hing and kasuri methi.

  2. Now add in chopped onions and fry for a minute.

  3. Add in ground paste, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, jaggery and give a mix. Then close the lid and cook till the oil separates.

  4. Then add in frozen green peas, capsicum and scrambled paneer and give a mix.

  5. Then close the lid and cook for another five minutes.

  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati, poori or dosa.
