ABOUT SESAME SEEDS:
There are two types of sesame seeds—white sesame seeds and black sesame seeds. White sesame seeds are more common and have a mild, nutty flavor, while black sesame seeds are darker or black in color and have a slightly stronger, more earthy taste.
USES OF SESAME SEEDS:
They are commonly sprinkled on bread, buns, Indian breads like naun, chapati etc. and other baked goods, sweets, snacks. Sesame oil, extracted from sesame seeds, is widely used in cooking and lighting diyas for pooja.

Ingredients
White Sesame seeds 2 cups
Jaggery 3/4 cup (add as per requirements)
Cardamom pods 2
Peanuts 1/2 cups
Roasted chana 1/4 cup
Ghee 1 tbsp.
Directions
- Clean seeds and keep it aside.
- Now in a pan add in sesame seeds and cardamom. Dry roast till it changes its color to light golden brown or till it splutters on a low to medium flame.
- Transfer to another plate and allow it cool down completely. And keep it aside.
- And in the same dry roast peanuts and roasted channa.
- Later transfer roasted sesame seeds.
- Jaggery powder, add as per your requirements.
- And then add in roasted peanuts and chana. Grind it into a smooth powder.
- Transfer to another plate.
- Add in ghee and give a mix.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round laddu by pressing it between your palms. Repeat this process for the remaining mixture.
- Roll it in a roasted sesame seeds.
- Finally, Sesame seeds laddu is ready to eat. Enjoy.
