So, the ingredients used in this recipe are ripe banana, for sweetener I have used organic jaggery, cocoa powder, pinch of cardamom powder, pinch of salt, organic wheat flour, dry fruits like chopped walnuts, cashew nuts, raisins. even we can use other dry fruits like fig, almond, pistachio, dates etc., water as required.
In this recipe I have not used all purpose flour i.e., maida, no sugar, no artificial color, no artificial flavor. It is a best and healthy recipe for kids. Brownies have a more dense texture and are set in a pan, baked and cut into squares, after they have been baked. Brownies are a delicious teatime treat or a tempting desert. The texture of their crusty top does not make them easy to decorate. The basic brownie can be varied with the addition choc chips or nuts. The brownie is closer to cookie in nature because it is cut into squares. Brownies are made with flour, eggs, butter and cocoa they do not rise to be fluffy like cakes.
Brownies do not replace cakes, but are made with similar ingredients and are treated as a sweet or dessert. Brownie is of a chocolate flavor, as we add cocoa powder to the brownie mixture.
