Tasty Red Velvet cup cakes are very simple and tasty cup cakes. The ingredients used in this recipe are almost same like other cakes, so the ingredients are all purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, pinch of salt, oil, butter, beetroot juice(here I have used beet juice for color, instead of artificial color), egg. Now for making frosting we need frosting powder, butter and water or milk. For decoration we need some sprinklers.

  • ½ cup All Purpose Flour/Maida
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ⅛ tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ⅛ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Beetroot Juice (artificial colors can be used)
  • Pinch of Salt

For Butter Vanilla Frosting

  • ½ cup Vanilla Frosting Powder
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Water
  1. Take a bowl and add in egg, vanilla essence, oil, beet root juice and give a mix.

  2. Now add in all purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, pinch of salt, sugar. Give a gentle mix.

  3. Pre heat the oven for 10 minutes under 180 degree celsius.

  4. Now grease the cup cake molds with oil or butter and pour the cake batter equally and bake them for 15 minutes under 180 degree Celsius.

  5. Now the tasty red velvet cakes are ready.

  6. Now decorate them with butter vanilla frosting and with some sprinklers.
