Spicy Raw Mango

Spicy raw mango or chili raw mango is a very simple, easy and mouthwatering recipe. It takes hardly 3 to 5 minutes to make this tasty recipe. Further, only 3 ingredients used to make this spicy recipe.

So, I have used Totapuri Mango which is also known as Ginimoothi mango. Generally they are large sized fruit, with a beak like pointed end. They are primarily grown ins South India states such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. But you can used any raw mango of your choice. Taste may vary as per the mango you choose.

It can be served as a side dish or you can eat has it is. And it goes well with curd rice too. You can make any variations are per your choice.

ABOUT RAW MANGO:

Raw Mango is also known as unripe mango or green mango and have a tart or sour taste. Usually, mangoes are available during spring and summer seasons. So, it is always to good eat seasonal fruits. These raw mangoes are popularly used in pickles due to their tangy taste. You can use these mangoes for making chutneys. Again raw mango chutney is a delicious condiment made by adding mango, spices, herbs and salt to taste and sometime sugar can also be added to balance the tangy flavor.

Raw mangoes can also be used in beverages like mango juice, smoothies and sherbets. Further raw mangoes can also be used in making carries and sauces, snacks and desserts.

  • Green Chilies 3

  • Salt to taste

  • Firstly, rinse raw mango and cut them into pieces.
  • Now in pestle add in rock salt and green chilies.
  • Add cut raw mango piece.
  • Smash it with the motor.
  • Finally, spicy raw mango is ready to serve.
