This is one of the healthy, simple and tasty recipe. It is prepared during festivals times. This sweet is offered to god as prasadam. Even you can add other fruits also like jack fruit, apple, grapes.It can be prepared within 10 minutes span of time.The main ingredient here is banana.
I usually prepare whenever there is more bananas leftover. As everyone of us like to have this sweet with jaggery or sugar.
Simple Banana Rasayana
It is a very healthy a simple and tasty recipe.
- 8 nos. Banana small (You can also make with big banana)
- ½ cup Poha/Avalaki(soaked)
- 2 tbsp Jaggery/Honey (As per taste)
- ¼ tsp Cardomum powder
- ¼ tsp Dry ginger powder (Optional)
- Pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Grated coconuts
- 1 tbsp Dry fruits (Optional)
Firstly soak the poha/avalaki for 10 minutes.
Take a bowl and add in poha(remove water completely from the the poha), add in chopped banana, cardomum powder, jaggery, grated coconuts, a pinch of salt, dry fruits. Mix well.
Now the simple and healthy banana rasayana is to serve.
- You can also add other fruits also like jack fruit, apple, mango, pear, dry fruits etc.
