Rich and Creamy Javvarisi Semiya Payasam Recipe is a traditional and delicious dessert recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. So, it is very simple and easy to prepare. It is one of my sons favorite payasam recipe. Even it is my favorite too. For this recipe we need to soak javvarisi for one hour, and then drain off the excess water and add it into a boiling milk. Then cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
Ingredients:
So, the ingredients used in this recipe are sago(javvarisi), milk, sugar, condensed milk, cardamom powder, cashew nuts, raisins, oil or ghee.
Methods:
- Firstly heat a pan and add in oil or ghee, cashew nuts, raisins. Fry till golden brown.
And then allow the milk to boil. - Then add in soaked javvarisi and semiya, once the milk starts to boil.
- Then add in condensed milk, 1 tbsp sugar. Give a mix. Allow it boil for another 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
- And then add in 1/8th tsp cardamom powder.
- Then add in fried dry fruits and give a mix. Then switch off the flame.
- Finally the Javvarisi Semiya Payasam is ready to serve.

- 25 grams Sago
- 25 grams Semiya
- ½ cup Condensed milk
- ½ ltr Milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ⅛ tsp Cardamom powder
- 10 to 12 Cashew nuts
- 10 Raisins
- 1 tbsp Oil or ghee
