The ingredients used in this recipe are freshly chopped pineapples, rava i.e., semolina, country sugar, cardamom powder, pinch of salt, water as required, dry fruits like, cashew nuts, raisins, for coloring I have used turmeric powder, Ghee(optional) it enhances the taste of the sweet. So, it is very simple and very easy to make with minimum ingredients.

We can make variety of kesari bath recipes like banana kesari bath, apple kesari bath, simple plane kesari bath, jackfruit kesari bath, etc. To make the bath more tasty and healthy even we can add in fried dry fruits like chopped almonds, chopped pistachio, chopped badam, chopped dates etc.

For coloring even we can use saffron food color or pure saffron strands. And even we can use some grated coconuts or coconut milk enhance the taste of the pineapple kesari bath. Rava Pineapple Kesari Bath

Rava Pineapple Kesari Bath is a very simple and tasty South Indian dessert, It goes well with kara bath, vegetable bath i.e., uppama. It is one of the best breakfast recipe.

  • ½ Cup Rava (roasted)
  • 1½ Cup Water
  • ½ cup Sugar (Add according to your taste)
  • 2 Slice Freshly chopped Pineapples
  • Cardamom Powder
  • 10 Raisins and Cashew nuts
  • Pinch Turmeric powder
  • Pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  1. Take a pan and in oil, rava roast for 3 minutes in low flame. Keep it aside.

  2. In the same pan add some oil and fry raisins and cashew nuts and keep it aside.

  3. In the same pan add in water. When it starts boiling add in roasted rava slowly and keep stirring without lumps.

  4. Add in freshly chopped pineapples and give a mix.

  5. Add in sugar and fried raisins, cashew nuts and cardamom powder. Give a mix and close the lid and cook for 2 minutes in low flame.

  6. At the end add in ghee (optional) and serve hot with uppma.
