How to make Rajma Potato Gravy Recipe:

Rajma Curry|Rajma Gravy recipe is a healthy and tasty gravy recipe. It goes well with poori, chapati, dosa, jeera rice, hot rice. It is simple and tasty recipe.
- Pressure Cooker
- Pan
- Mixer jar
- 250 Grams Rajma
- 2 Potatoes medium
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbap Oil
- 2 Cloves
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 1 or 2 Cardamom
- ½ tsp Fennel seeds
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Chopped coriander leaves
For grinding
- 3 Medium tomatoes
- 2 Big onion
- 5 Cashew nuts
- ¼ cup Grated coconut

Firstly rinse and pressure cook rajma for 3 whistles.

Then heat a pan and add in onion, tomatoes, cashew nuts, grated coconuts. Saute for 5 minutes in medium flame. Later allow it cool down completely. Then ground it into a smooth paste.

And then heat a pan and add in oil, cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, bay leaf, fennel seeds, cumin seeds. Now add in grounded paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste.

Now close the lid and cook till the raw smell goes away. Then add in cooked rajma, kashmiri chili powder, garam masala powder, salt to taste, boiled potatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes in low flame.

Later add in kasuri methi, ghee and chopped coriander leaves.

Finally the rajma potato curry is ready to serve.
