Finger millet i.e. ragi, roasted peanuts, jaggery, cardamom powder, pinch of salt and little water. We can add in sesame seeds, chopped dry fruits, grated coconut too. If you add grated coconut we cannot store it for longer period of time.

How to make Traditional Ragi Simili Recipe:

Ragi simili
Firstly take a mixing bowl and add in ragi flour, pinch of salt and sprinkle little water. Give a mix. It should be puttu flour consistency. Not too wet not too dry.

If we hold it should form a shape.

Then stem cook the ragi flour for 10 minutes in a steamer or idly mold.

Meanwhile dry roast the peanuts and keep it aside.

Coarsely grounded roasted peanuts.

Then transfer the steam cooked ragi flour into a mixing bowl and along with that add in jaggery, cardamom powder. Give a mix.
