So the ingredients used in this recipe are grated radish/ತುರಿದ ಮೂಲಂಗಿ, finger millet or ragi flour/ರಾಗಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, rice flour/ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, drumstick leaves/ನುಗೆಸೊಪು, cumin seeds/ಜೀರಿಗೆ, grated carrot/ತುರಿದ ಕ್ಯಾರೆಟ್, green chilies/ಹಸಿರು ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ, salt to taste/ರುಚಿಗೆ ಉಪ್ಪು, curry leaves/ಕರಿಬೇವು, water as required/ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವಂತೆ ನೀರು.

Radish Finger Millet Ragi Roti

Radish Finger Millet Ragi Roti is a healthy breakfast recipe goes well with coconut chutney, peanut chutney, tomato chutney.

  • 1 cup Finger Millet flour/Ragi flour
  • 2 tbsp Rice Flour (Optional)
  • ½ cup Grated Radish
  • ¼ cup Grated Carrot
  • 1 cup Drum stick leaves
  • ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3 Green chilies
  • Few chopped curry leaves
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Water (As required)
  • Oil (As required)
  1. Take a bowl and add in all the ingredients given in the ingredient list.

  2. Add in required water and give a mix.

  3. Now make small balls and keep it aside.

  4. Take a piece of banana leaf or wet cotton cloth and wet your hands and try to flat the ball with the help of your fingures.

  5. Heat the tawa and just put the flatten roti and close the lid and cook them on both the sides by adding in some oil.

  6. Now the healthy and tasty ragi roti is ready to serve with any chutney of your choice.
