Ingredients used:
Ladies finger, onion, oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, curry leaves, salt to taste, sambar powder or chili powder.
Method:
How to make Ladies Finger Poriyal or Side dish:
- Firstly rinse ladies finger for 2 to 3 times and cut in to small pieces.
- Then heat a pan and add in cut ladies finger and dry roast till the stickiness goes away. (we can add little oil while roasting). And transfer into another bowl.
- Then in the same pan add in oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, onion chopped, curry leaves.
- Then add in turmeric powder, salt to taste, sambar powder. Saute it for another 2 to 3 minutes under low flame.
- Finally the Ladies finger poriyal is ready to serve.

- 500 grams Ladies finger
- 1 Chopped onions
- 1 tbsp Oil
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1 tsp Sambar powder or chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Few curry leaves
