Paneer Bell Pepper Gravy
Paneer Bell Pepper Gravy is a delicious side dish recipe goes well with poori, chapati, parathas, dosa, jeera rice. And below is the step by step pictures and instructions are given below, hope you all like it.
For Marination
- 200 grams Paneer
- 2 tbsp Thick Curd
- 1 tsp Chili powder (adjust according to consistency)
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
For Gravy
- 1 Onion
- 1 Chopped bell pepper
- 2 Tomatoes
- 5 Cashew nuts
- 2 Green Chilies
- 1 to 2 Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon Sticks and Bay leaf
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Water as required
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
For Marination
Take a mixing bowl and add in thick curd, chili, coriander, turmeric, garam masala powders and give a mix, and then add in paneer cubes and give a mix and allow it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
For Making Gravy
Take a pan and add oil, onions, tomatoes, cashew nuts and fry for a minute, grind them to a smooth paste.
Now place a pan on the stove and add in oil, cloves, bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, green chilies. Fry them for a minute.
Add in ground paste, ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, and then close the lid and cook them for 5 to 10 minutes in low flame or till the oil separates.
Now add in marinated paneer cubes and chopped bell peppers. Again close the lid and cook them for another 5 minutes in low flame.
For sweetner you can add in sugar, if you want gravy to be little sweet (optional).
Now at the end garnish it with some kasuri methi and serve hot with poori, jeera rice, parathas, dosas of your choice.
