Ingredients

  • Muskmelon 1 no.

  • Jaggery or Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Cardamom 1 pod

  • Water 3 cups

  • Lemon 1/2

Directions

  • Firstly, rinse muskmelon and cut them into pieces.
  • Deseed the muskmelon
  • Peel the skin of the muskmelon.
  • Then chop it into chunks or squeeze with the help of your hands.
  • Or smash it with the help of a smasher and even you can blend the chunks in a blender until smooth to make muskmelon puree.
  • Add required water, if you want thick panakam add little water, or you want like juice consistency then more water.
  • Squeeze half lemon juice.
  • Later add in jaggery powder or jaggery syrup.
  • Now add in cardamom powder.
  • Give a mix, until the jaggery is completely dissolves.
  • Finally, chilled muskmelon panakam is ready to serve.
