Ingredients Used:
Basmati rice, fresh methi leaves, sliced onions, oil, fennel seeds, cardamom, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric powder, carrot, beans, salt to taste, water as required and for grinding we need coconuts, green chilies, ginger garlic.
Methods:
How to make Methi Pulao:
- Firstly clean and rinse fenugreek leaves or methi leaves and keep it aside.
- Now heat a pan and add in oil, fennel seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf.
- Then add in chopped carrots, beans, saute it for 5 minutes in low flame.
- Now in a mixer jar add in coconut, ginger, garlic, green chilies, pepper corns. Ground it into a smooth paste.
- Now add in ground coconut masala paste.
- Add in required water, salt to taste. Allow it to boil.
- Then add in the soaked basmati rice.
- Close the lid and allow it cook till the rice is completely cooked.
- Finally the healthy and tasty Methi Pulao is ready to serve.

- Pan or pot
- Mixer jar
- 250 grams Methi leaves or Fenugreek leaves
- 250 grams Basmati rice
- 1 Big Onion sliced
- 1 Chopped carrot
- 10 Chopped Beans
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 2 Cloves
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 2 Cardamom
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Few curry leaves
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups Water
For grinding
- 3 Green chilies
- 5 to 8 Pepper corns
- ⅓ cuip Coconut chopped
- 10 Garlic pods
- 1 inch Ginger
