How to make Kara Muttai or Spicy Egg Fry Recipe:

Firstly heat a pan and add in water, eggs and salt to taste. Then cook for 15 minutes.

Peel egg shell and cut them into half.

Take a bowl and add in chili powder, salt and turmeric powder.

Heat a pan and add in oil, onions, curry leaves, smashed garlic.

  • 6 No.s Eggs
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Diced onions
  • Few curry leaves
  • 10 pods Smashed garlic
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves (Garnishing)
  1. Firstly boil eggs and keep it aside.

  2. After boiling the eggs peel the shell and cut them into half.

  3. Then heat a pan and add in oil, diced onions, curry leaves, smashed garlic.

  4. Fry till the garlic turns brown.

  5. And then coat the cut eggs in the chili mix.

  6. And then add into the garlic mix pan and roast the eggs on both the sides till crisp.

  7. Finally garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
