Kabuli Channa Curry
Kabuli Channa Curry is a simple and traditional curry recipe, it goes well with cooked rice, chapati and ragi ball.
- 2 Cups Soaked and boiled Kabuli Channa
- 3 Onions
- 1 Tomatoes
- 1 to 2 Cut Brinjal
- 1 to 2 Cut Potatoes
- 1 tsp Tamarind Juice
- ¼ cup Coconut chopped
- 1 tbsp Samber Powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt (As per taste)
- Water (As required)
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 Spring Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves (For Garnishing)
Soak Kabuli Channa for 3 hours or overnight.
Cook Kabuli Channa for 3 whistles.
Take a jar and add in 2 onion chopped, tamarind, coconuts. Make a paste.
Cut brinjal and potatoes and keep it aside.
Take a pan and add in cooked kabuli channa and grounded paste and cut vegetables and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
Take a small pan add in oil, mustard seeds, chopped onion and curry leaves.
Now add in the seasoning to the curry, again cook for 2 minutes.
Now the kabuli channa curry is ready to serve with cooked rice, chapati and ragi ball.
