Jave wheat is also known as Jave Godhi (long wheat). Jave Wheat Rava Payasam is a healthy and tasty payasam recipes. Ingredients used in this recipe are roasted Jave wheat rava, jaggery, oil, cardamom powder, chopped coconut, poppy seeds, roasted channa, dry fruits of your choice like cashew nus, raisins, walnuts, dates, almond, pistachio, but here I have used only cashew nuts, raisins, almond and pistachio. Adding dry fruits into the recipe not only make tasty but also healthy too.

Jave Wheat Rava Payasam
Jave Wheat Rava Payasam is a healthy and tasty recipe, its benefits are good for digestion and improves immune system.
- 1 cup Roasted Jave Wheat Rava
- 1 cup Jaggery (Adjust according to your sweetness)
- 1 Cardamom
- 2 tsp Roasted channa
- 2 Almond
- 1 tsp Poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coconuts
- 2 tsp Oil
- Pinch Salt
- Water (As required)
Firstly dry roast the Jave Wheat rava for 2 minutes in low flame adding 1 tsp oil.
Take a pan and add in water, java wheat rava and cook till it cooks.
Meanwhile grind the alomds, cardamom, coconuts, poppy seeds and roasted channa. Make a paste of it.
Now add in jaggery, grounded paste and fried dry fruits.
Cook for another two minutes and serve.
