Healthy wheat bread recipe with step by step pictures and instructions are given below. This is my first attempt of making bread. So, I thought of adding maida or all purpose flour along with wheat flour to get the right texture and taste. It is very simple and easy to make with minimal ingredients. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are Whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, warm milk, yeast, sugar, some salt, butter, oil.

So, I thought of adding maida or all purpose flour along with wheat flour to get the right texture and taste. It is very simple and easy to make with minimal ingredients. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are Whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, warm milk, yeast, sugar, some salt, butter, oil.
- Mixing bowl
- Oven
- Loaf pan
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1 cup Maida
- ½ tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Butter or oil
To activate yeast:
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar

Firstly sieve wheat flour and maida. Give a mix and keep it aside.

Take a small bowl and add in warm milk and sugar. Give a mix. And then add in yeast and give a mix. Close the lid and allow it rest for 5 minutes.

Finally the yeast if activated. And then add in salt and give a mix with your hands or electric blender.

And then add in activated yeast and again blend. And then add in butter or oil. Again give a blend.

And then add in milk and knead the dough with hand or electric blender.

Now the bread dough is ready. Now close the cloth and allow it rest for raising at least for one hour.

Again knead the dough. And then flatten the dough and roll it as shown in the picture. So, that we get a flat surface on the top.

Grease the loaf or pan with oil or butter.
Now place the rolled bread dough and apply some oil or butter.

Again close the dough with cloth and allow it rest for one hour for raising.
Once the dough is raised apply some milk.

Pre heat the oven for 10 minutes and bake it for 45 to 50 minutes used 180 degree Celsius.

Allow it cool down completely and then cut the bread with bread knife and then serve with jam, butter etc.
