Healthy Black gram Laddu or Ulundu Laddu is a healthy and tasty whole urad dal laddu. It is one of the best snacks for all age group. Black gram has got many health benefits such as improves digestion, boosts energy, skin care etc. In this recipe I have used whole urad dal but we can also use split urad dal without skin also. So, the ingredients used in this recipe are black gram, jaggery, cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom powder, ghee, oil, pinch of salt, water.

Healthy Black Urad dal Jaggery laddu or Ulundu Laddu
Healthy Black gram Laddu or Ulundu Laddu is a healthy and tasty whole urad dal laddu. It is one of the best snacks for all age group. Black gram has got many health benefits such as improves digestion, boosts energy, skin care etc.
- Pan
- Mixer jar
- Mixing bowl
- ½ cup Black urad dal
- ½ cup Jaggery (Adjust according to taste)
- ¼ cup Roated channa (Optional)
- 2 tbsp Cashew nuts and raisins
- 1 Cardamom
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup Water

Heat a pan and add in oil, cashew nuts and raisins. Fry till golden brown and keep it aside.

In the same pan add in black gram and fry till the raw smell goes and slightly changes its color.

In the same pan add in roasted channa and fry them for two minutes in low flame.

Now take a mixer jar and add in fried black channa, roasted channa, cardamom, pinch of salt.

Ground them into a fine powder.

Now heat a pan and add in little water, jaggery. Allow the jaggery to melt completely.

And then add in fried cashew nuts, raisins and ghee.

Give a mix and make lemon size laddus with the help of your hands.

Finally the healthy black gram laddus are ready to serve.
