Healthy Bitter gourd Recipe is a healthy recipe, ingredients used in this recipe are very handy which are easily available at home. Helathy Bitter gourd Recipe

Bitter gourd side dish recipe is easy to make. It is a healthy recipe. It tastes bitter but you can add jaggery to compensate the bitterness.

  • 3 Bitter gourd (chopped)
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato Chopped
  • 3 tsp Samber Powder or Chili powder (add as per taste)
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Channa dal and Urad dal
  • 2 Spring Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves (Garnishing)
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Water (as needed)
  1. Wash and cut the bitter gourd into small pieces.



  2. Take a pan add in oil, Onion, curry leaves.



  3. Add in Tomato chopped.



  4. Add in spice powders and salt.



  5. Add in chopped bitter gourd and jaggery.



  6. Close the lid, add little water and cook till the bitter gourd cooks. Garnish it with coriander leaves.



  7. Bitter gourd side dish is ready to serve.
