Healthy Beetroot Sandwich

Beetroot sandwich is a healthy sandwich recipe, it can be served for breakfast or as an evening snacks. So the ingredients used in this recipe are freshly grated beetroot, chopped onions, oil, salt as per taste, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, hing, coriander leaves, bread, freshly sliced cucumber, freshly sliced tomatoes, pepper powder.

Healthy Beetroot Sandwich

Beetroot Sandwich is a healthy sandwich recipe, it can served for brekfast or even for evening snacks.

  • Tawa or pan
  • Pan
  • 1½ cup Freshly grated beetroot
  • 1 Chopped onions
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Chili and Coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of hing and turmeric powder
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves (For garnishing)

For assembling Sandwich

  • 8 Bread Slices
  • Garlic Butter/butter
  • Oil
  • 1 Freshly sliced cucumber
  • 2 Freshly sliced tomatoes
  • Pepper powder
  1. Grate the beetroot and keep it aside.

  2. Heat a pan and add in oil, chopped onions, salt to taste. Fry for a minute.

  3. Add in chili powder, coriander powder, hing and turmeric powder.

  4. Add in grated beetroot and give a mix and fry fro 5 minutes in low flame.

  5. Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and keep it aside.

For Assembling Sandwich

  1. Toast the bread on tawa with oil or butter and keep it aside.

  2. Now take the toasted bread and spread garlic butter evenly allover the bread.

  3. Now add in the prepared beetroot stuffing evenly on the bread.

  4. Then place the sliced cucumber and tomatoes and sprinkle some pepper powder.

  5. Finally the healthy and tasty beetroot sanchwich is ready to serve.
